From March 8th to March 11th, the AF Lounge (The Alcohol Free Lounge) at 2226 E Cesar Chavez in East Austin is open for all seeking a break from the frenzy of the festival. The lounge will be open 12pm-8pm daily.

Rent Money Lounge & Third Place Bar invite you to an evening of wine & bites, minus the hangover! If you’ve been curious about non-alcoholic wines but aren’t quite sure where to start, we’ve got you covered! This is your chance to explore several different non-alcoholic wines and wine alternatives in a guided tasting, alongside some light bites.
Your ticket includes:
- 5-6 samples of non-alcoholic wines & wine alternatives (sparkling, white, rosé & red)
- A guided wine tasting
- A sampling of Charcuterie with a selection of fine meats & artisanal cheeses

The Sober Sallies February Meetup
The Sober Sallies started as a series of direct messages between me and friends and strangers who were starting to investigate their relationship with alcohol. Since 2019 it has grown into both a podcast (co-hosted with my bestie @bridgetoneill21) and also a monthly IRL open meeting in NYC. I tell people mostly what we do is drink mocktails and bitch about being sober. It's really fun. And I think we've done a good job of making a pretty safe space for people to come talk about stuff they normally wouldn't mention in a social setting. As always, I'm so thankful to @spiritedaway.co for being my home away from home in many ways.

Featuring six up-and-coming designers and performances on the runway, on Monday, February 12th, the Break Free Foundation returns for their fifth New York Fashion Week runway show. Third Place Bar x Rent Money Lounge: Zero Proof Cocktail Class
Do you want to start making your own non-alcoholic drinks at home but aren't sure where to start? Are you curious about some of the ingredients you find on zero-proof cocktail menus at bars and restaurant? Or do you just want to mingle with other folks and enjoy a fun evening? Then we've got just the right event for you!
In this class, you'll learn the basics of cocktail making, get an intro to non-alcoholic spirits and botanicals, and make your own zero-proof cocktails!
Your ticket includes:
NA Spirit Samples
Ingredients for two non-alcoholic cocktails
Instruction on how to build cocktails
Mini charcuterie snacks
Seasonal drink samples
Content of you and your friends at the bar
The class runs approximately 75 minutes.
